Most mosques are located in or near the city centre, leaving many families in Goldington and surrounding areas without easy access to a house of Allah. Alhamdulillah, Goldington Islamic Centre will continue to serve the community in east Bedford and beyond.

Who We Are

We are a group of local Muslims, backed by over 4000 active supporters, united with one vision: to establish a welcoming, inclusive masjid for all. In the near future, we want to establish a community centre attached to the mosque. 

Our community is highly diverse, reflecting the global ummah. To ensure inclusivity, English will be the primary language for announcements and speeches.

Where is it located?

Alhamdulillah, we have fundraised and purchased the old Gospel Hall on Goldington Road. We are continuing to convert it into a fully functional masjid, insha’Allah.

The site is located between 81 and 83 Goldington Road, Bedford, MK40 3EP. It has on-site parking available for about 20 cars. Facilities currently available:

• Main prayer hall for 150 men
• Toilets (including accessible facilities)
• Kitchen facilities
